Jack Mylchreest is a prodigious young country songwriter from the North East of England. He has spent the last 5 years building his livelihood as a working musician, performing in a variety of venues around the North East including the Stack, the Cluny and the Hard Rock Cafe. He loves his work, but has long dreamed of entering the world of original music as an artist, and with this new release he is finally ready to do just that.

'Safe With You' was chosen as Jack's first single back in March 2022, receiving critical acclaim from the likes of 'Absolute Country Radio' and others, with Narc Magazine saying it 'Rings in the ears like a classic'. The track also peaked at No.5 in the iTunes UK Country charts. Following this came the release of his second and final promotional single from the EP, this song was 'Tryin'. Tryin' is a complete departure from the normal for Jack in terms of genre, leaning more on the indie-pop side than his usual country, but still features his straight to the point songwriting and catchy melodies.

Now with the EP, Jack plans to push the promotion for it further than anything else he's done. Having not just produced music videos for the singles, but with a live recorded performance of his track 'Sober' on the way, Jack is looking to make an impact. To further solidify the significance of this release, Jack has produced a limited 300 unit Vinyl run of the EP, which is on sale through his digital store and at HMV Newcastle. This selection of songs is Mr Mylchreest's debut into original music, and we promise you this: he's just getting started.
