Jack Mylchreest is a prodigious young country/alternative songwriter from the North East of England. He has spent the last 5 years building his livelihood as a working musician, performing in a variety of venues around the North East including the Stack, the Cluny and the Hard Rock Cafe. He loves his work, but has long dreamed of entering the world of original music as an artist, and 2022 is his year of doing just that.
Jack released his debut single 'Safe With You' back in March of 2022, and was overwhelmed with the positive reception it received. The track was played on Absolute Country Radio, as well as peaking at number 5 on the iTunes UK country charts. This cemented Jack's goal of wanting to make original music and put it out for people to hear.

Jack has therefore been working on a full EP that will be dropping later this year, and 'Tryin' is just the latest tease at what he has to come. It is more 'poppy' and electric than his last track, but this is exactly what Jack imagined would go down well as a summer single, he hopes you agree.
