Jack Mylchreest is a UK-based guitarist, songwriter and session musician whose journey with music began at the age of six after watching School of Rock — a moment that sparked a lifelong obsession with the guitar. From that point on, music became a constant, playing throughout his school years, completing graded guitar exams and performing whenever possible.

After leaving school, Jack studied Music Performance at Newcastle College, graduating with distinction while developing his skills as both a live performer and recording musician. He quickly became an active part of the live music scene, performing in bands and gigging extensively across the UK, building a reputation as a dependable and expressive guitarist.

Alongside creating original music, Jack’s career naturally evolved into session work, leading to opportunities performing with established artists including Joe McElderry, as well as function bands and live events nationwide.

Deeply influenced by country music and guitar-led songwriting, Jack continues to release original material while working as a professional session guitarist for studio recordings and live performances. He also shares his musical journey online through YouTube, offering an honest look into life as a working musician, from touring and sessions to tone chasing and travel.
